5k Run Your New Year's Resolution?

Leo’s Run/Walk Super Bowl Sunday in East Silver Spring, brought to you in part by Finn Family Group.

 

Dan & Meg are proud to support the 2nd annual Leo’s Run, a 5k Run/Walk in memory of Leo Michael Mowery, and in support of Leo’s Garden, a 501 (c) 3 organization “dedicated to supporting families coping with pre-natal child loss through creative and artistic activities and therapies such as yoga, art, and outdoor education.” The race will be held this Superbowl Sunday at 9 am, starting from East Silver Spring Elementary School.

 

Registration is here. Come on out! And support your neighbors in a very worthy cause where generating awareness can really do a lot to help those who have loved and lost. The course is a USATF certified 5k. Be warned – this is a hillier (and colder) race than the flat, fast course of the Takoma Park Safe Routes to School 5k we bring you May 1 – think of it as hill training! And see you out there!
